As I sit here surfing online, chatting, playing WoW, and watching TV/ utilizing as background noise, something happened, obscurely....as if stars aligned for just a moment. This wasn't the good kind of align, or bad.... just random. I was browsing a site called Wowwikki, a sort of online encyclopedia and game guide for WoW, and there was some bogus adverts for the new Twilight movie. Scoffing a little, I looked over to my game, and some toon named "Bellaedwards" (I kid you not) asked if my guild was somehow connected with the Twilight Series (My Guilds name is called the Twilight Order, and no, there is not a connection). As I was responding to this comment, somewhat annoyed, I absentmindedly began the next episode of what I was watching/utilizing as background noise on Netflix, only to, after finishing my minor tirade about how much I despise the Twilight Series and bitching about people making that connection, realize I was watching none other than Angel.
Needless to say, this made me just laugh. I couldn't help but roll around in the irony. Although I must admit, I'd much rather be a Whedon and Rice fan (let's not forget her wonderful literary due to the world of Vampiricism) then ever give into Twilight. I made it into a third of the first book and decided I couldn't go forward anymore.
So now I give into the irony and am going to finish watching Angel.
OOOH and The Lost Boys series wasn't too shabby either!
