Thanksgiving was wonderful this year. Though it was a smaller one, with my two elder brothers and my new sister in law not in attendance.

As does most days with my family, the day began with a nice cup of coffee for us all.

Followed by a cozy day long fire to keep spirits up

Then came some initial prepwork

Some salads

And the bird

The cobbler crust

After the initial prep, it was time for a wee bit of relax and play whilst the meal cooks, simmers, and bakes...









 And then, finally, dinner!

And....Dessert!!!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I can finally accept and not get angry at Christmas. Onward!
